He has been in the inspection field for over 30 years, even prior to the state's licensing of inspectors. He is one of the most experienced inspectors in the business today.

Professional Experience Includes:

  • Served over 17,000 clients, with transactions valued at over $3.5 billion
  • Member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating
  • Founding President / TPREIA North Texas
  • Associate Professor of Real Estate / Collin College
  • Instructor in local college and real estate investment classes since 1997
  • Pioneer of the Inspection Industry in Texas since 1983
  • Mentored 10 men in the business since 1992
  • Licensed as Texas real estate broker in 1980 (license currently retired)
  • Selected by D Magazine in 2006 as one of DFW's top home inspectors (as voted by realtors in the Dallas Metroplex)
  • BBA from Southern Methodist University in 1980 (Concentration in Finance & Real Estate)

Beyond his professional experience, Mr. Bickham is a life-long resident of the Dallas Metroplex, and has actively invested in the communities of which he is and has been a part.

Volunteer & Community Service Work Includes:

  • Co founder of a private school Pre K -12 in Dallas, TX
  • On board of Practice Ministries (a father / son or daughter program designed to strengthen fathers' relationships with their children)
  • On Advisory board of McCuistion TV, a nationally viewed television show providing excellence in public broadcasting for 25 years: "Talking about things that matter with people who care."
  • Chair of Farmers Branch Community Garden 2010-2011

As a youth and young man, Mr. Bickham was an extremely gifted athlete, with talent that would have carried him to the top of the NFL and / or Major League Baseball. His career was cut short due to a severe knee injury and its subsequent complications. Prior to the injury, he received the following accolades:

  • Metroplex Player of the Year in both football and baseball (1975 and 1976)
  • Parade All American Quarterback in 1976
  • All State baseball player with .079 ERA (1976 record)
  • Academic All American 1976
  • Key member of pitching staff leading Baylor to first college world series as a freshman with 10-3 record (Still co-holder of wins as a freshman)
  • Inducted into Baylor Sports Hall of Fame in 2017 during the Honor Team recognition ceremony held on Homecoming Weekend
  • Inducted into Plano ISD Hall of Honor in 2011 for achievements in both football and baseball
  • Little League coach for 20 years

On a personal note, Mr. Bickham is:

  • Happy husband of Kristen
  • Father of three sons
  • Texas native and resident of Farmers Branch, Carrollton and Plano for over 40 years
